ASCAP has a new license geared toward small businesses and individuals who want to stream music on their website and mobile apps. The?ASCAP Play Music?License is designed to make obtaining an ASCAP license easier, more affordable and virtually maintenance-free.
The Play Music license is for web or mobile apps with fewer than 30,000 user visits per month, and less than $2,000 per month in revenue. The license costs $240 per year.
