My family loves board games! We play them all the time! Even before we had kids we would have a game night where we would invite friends over to play. Now that the kids are getting older we have started introducing them to preschool games and board games. However, we're also a family that travels a lot. When the vacation is over, kids can pack these games in a backpack for fun on the school bus or during an after-school play date.My Take: We received one of my all time favorite games from the Fun on the Run series- Trouble! I loved this game growing up and was shocked that my husband has never played it. After teaching him how to play the game (which is quite simple) we have played it every night before we go to bed. The best part is, it's so small and compact that you can play it right in the comfort of your bed! It comes in it's own carrying case. You just take off the plastic lid attach it to the bottom and you have created a playing platform. The playing pegs fit nicely into the slots and my only issue with them is the size. They are a little small for younger kids to keep track of. On the other hand it was great for my little ones to work on fine motor skills! The games are also quite durable. We've played it several times and the bobble popper still works great! This is now a family favorite.
