HR Business Unit Leader ? St. Louis
????????? Participates with other senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Work in partnership with our business areas in achieving business plans and objective
????????? Lead in the development and implementation of aligned human resource strategies in support of the business objectives, integrating the efforts of various functional areas (recruiting, compensation, LOE, etc)
????????? Design and/or implement HR policies, programs and practices that are consistent with business objectives and culture
????????? Attract and retain an inclusive workforce and be an employer of choice
????????? Influence major HR decisions; bringing meaningful alignment to our business
????????? Provide leadership to the HR team to ensure efficient, effective and meaningful HR practices, effectively utilize support resources for superior delivery
Requirements:
* Proven business acumen (and willingness/ability to learn the business)
* Undergraduate degree in related field required, advanced degree MBA or related area ? preferred.
* HR certification a strong plus.
* 7-10 years related HR experience with 2 years in a leadership position.
* 5 years HR Generalist experience preferred.
* Foundation understanding of compensation theory and application, recruiting systems and best practices, Employment law, ADR models, Organizational Development theory and application, Motivation theory and application principles, Change Management theory and application principles, understanding of HRIS applications.
* Must have a comprehensive understanding of how these component parts of HR integrate in providing holistic solutions and be able to facilitate business leaders in their implementation.???????????????
* Must be able to solve complex issues by building consensus of? multiple stake holders
* Must have strong project management skills
* Be able to thrive in a highly matrix organization and be adapt at building relationships to obtain results
* Demonstrated ability to quickly develop a solid understanding of our business and demonstrate seasoned judgment in resolving issues
* Effectively communicate complex issues across all levels and areas within the division and firm
* Strong consultative approach using quantitative analysis to influence and obtain buy?in from key stake holders
