The Susan G. Komen Detroit Race for the Cure is over for another year, but? many who took part are inspired to do more.?? Saturday?s walk raised more than two million dollars for breast cancer research and treatment.? For 29-year breast cancer survivor Lois Pratt, of Lapeer ?..it doesn?t stop there.
?Well, I walk anytime there is a walk.? I don?t do the , the Crim, which is a run & I don?t do the Relay for Life, which is a run, but I do everytime there?s a walk someplace, I?ll walk.?
Why is she staying so involved?
?Oh, it raises money for one thing. That?s , that?s the big thing, I think.?
Pratt was among two thousand breast cancer survivors who talk part in the Race for the Cure on Saturday.? About 40-thousand people took part, raising more than two million dollars for breast cancer research and treatment.
