In this case, the bathroom is less private, and there is more of a practical purpose to putting in furniture. On the way to the other room, you or a visitor may want to sit down, and having something there other than a toilet is a luxury most people do not often enjoy.

Since most people only use the toilet in a bathroom, what is the point of spending money and putting something else in there? The first reason is the simple visual appeal; it is nice to see furniture wherever you go, a bathroom included.

Also, sometimes people desire to sit on something other than the toilet in a bathroom, especially after they are done with their business. For all of these reasons, adding furniture to your bathroom should definitely be considered, and you are sure to be happy with the change once you implement it.
